A home for groups of all sorts
We welcome many groups and classes into the Meeting House, either on a regular or one-off basis.
We keep the Meeting House as an alcohol-free space and have a variety of rooms to suit many uses – from meetings of over 100 people to intimate counselling spaces and yoga classes.
The meeting house is available for hire from 9:00 to 20:00 on weekdays and 14:00 on Saturdays. We have a strict no alcohol policy.
Large Meeting Room
From £38 for 3 hour min hire
An adaptable space that can seat over 100 people.
Measuring 12m x12m with double height ceilings, long windows (with blackout blinds) and an oak floor.
A piano is kept tuned and the plain white walls are ideal for projection during lectures/talks and there is a hearing loop installed.
As a ground floor room this has step-free access.
From £20 for 3 hour min hire
A versatile space that can seat up to 30.
Measuring 8.4m x 6.5 m this room has long windows, an oak floor and a mirrored wall at one end.
This room is suitable for yoga and exercise classes and also has some tables, so it can be used for classes. The walls are suitable for data projection.
The Small Meeting Room is upstairs and there is no lift.

Measuring 12m x5m the Long Room is more intimate than our other rooms. The walls are packed with art, often from our children’s meeting

Tea Room & Kitchen
From £24 for 3 hour min hire
A room that can seat up to 40 and is ideal for when refreshments are wanted or other table based use.
The Tea Room is 8.25m x 6m and comes with the kitchen.
The well-equipped Kitchen enables light refreshments preparation and the walls are suitable for projection.
This is a ground floor room with step-free access.
How to hire rooms
If you would like to hire any of our spaces please download the booking form for the appropriate time period, check you are happy with the terms & conditions printed on the back and if you are, contact Helen on 01799 521832 or SWLettings@saffronquakers.org.uk to see if the space is free when you would like to hire it (either regularly or as a one-off).
There is a data projector and amplification system available for a small extra cost.
We welcome visits to the meeting house to view the rooms.
Once you are content that you wish to hire the room and you know it is available when you want it, we will need the booking form completed, signed and dropped in to 69A High Street (next to the Meeting House) to be able to confirm your booking.
