Vintage Irene Evelyn Becker Hand Painted Porcelain Centerpiece Bowl Ladybug

Vintage hand-painted porcelain centerpiece bowl or jardinière by noted porcelain artist Irene Evelyn “Ladybug” Becker, signed and dated 1978. This striking decorative piece features an elegant Dresden/Vienna revival style with richly gilded double handles, scalloped rim, pedestal base, and beautifully hand-painted floral decoration throughout.  The bowl showcases a dramatic black exterior with ornate gold gilt scrollwork contrasted by a pale blue interior and base. Hand-painted floral cartouches and delicate interior floral sprays demonstrate the fine detail and artistry associated with Becker’s porcelain work. The underside includes her distinctive ladybug hallmark.
