Dates for September
It’s going to be a busy few weekends Friends. We will need your help please with food and washing up! Please let Biddy Vousden, our clerk know how you can join in.
Sunday 2nd 10.30am Meeting for Worship and Children’s Meeting
Local Meeting for Business, beginning at 12 noon.
We will be considering among other items, the arrangements for Quaker week; possible actions regarding the displaced Chagossian islanders and four testimonies to the Grace of God as shown in the lives of members who have died in the last few months. You are invited to join in the business side of being a Quaker.
Tuesday 4th Interfaith group 6.30 to 7.30 pm in RC parish hall, 2 Castle St. All welcome
Wednesday 5th Experiment with Light group, 10.30 am in the Long Room

Sunday 16th 10.30 Meeting for Worship and Children’s Meeting followed by Bring and Share lunch and Heritage Open Day. Our Meeting House will be open to visitors over lunchtime.
Saturday 22nd 2.30 pm. Memorial Meeting to give thanks for the life of our dear Friend Judith Effer. Tea will follow. You will be asked for contributions of food and/or help nearer the time!

It’s Quaker Week Saturday 29th to Sunday 7th October!
Saturday 29th 10.00 to 12.00 noon. Cake and Information Stall outside Boots as part of Quaker Week. Cakes and help will be needed.
(ALSO Regional Gathering at Bury St Edmunds Meeting House. The speaker will be Ben Pink Dandelion. You could catch the afternoon session after selling and buying cakes.)
